With advanced technologies and invention of modern things crime rate has also increased as the tools used by the criminals are changing every day. The crime rate or the major crimes like theft, fraud, mischief, criminal activities and the defamation are all in top rise these days. There are more than 37 cybercrimes that attack the people these days with the help of computer. Some of the major crimes or the cybercrimes in Mumbai says Nikhil Lala are the following:

The hacking – in this method of criminal activity there will be unauthorized entry or access to your computer or networking, the criminals will hack or steal your valuable data that is stored in your hard disk. The Defence department is attacked by the hackers every moment and each year many incidents are also detected. 3. Email spoofing – this is a crime wherein the spoofed mail will appear from some source but it will be sent from some other source.
4. Salami attacks – the city Mumbai is the hub of the richest people and so is the attack of the financial crimes. In this salami attack many of the cases actually even go unnoticed.
5. Logic bombs – these are dependent programs wherein the system will be destroyed completely when some event occurs – trigger events. The programs will do something if some event takes place.
